On Sunday 30 Apr, between 1:30 and 3 PM, the Lions have coordinated a combined Broom Work Party with GaLTT at the far end of Drumbeg near the park boundary where GaLTT has been doing some restoration. If you have been to Drumbeg this year, you will find it to be much more open as wild flowers and meadows gradually take over from the heavy broom of the past. Sign in / sign out for insurance purposes will be at the bottom end of the Entrance Road and there will be some cutters available for those who don’t have their own.. Come one, Come all and bring your family, friends and neighbours. It won’t be too long a session and we always have a lot of fun together. Many hands make light work and so, let’s make it a good effort once again. – Lion Dixon
