On May 29th, the Gabriola Lions Club hosted our annual Pet Valu Dog Walk where all donated monies go to the Lions Foundation of Canada Dog Guides.
The cost of raising dog guides from birth, training to a becoming a fully qualified service dog has increased to $35,000.00. These dogs are a lifeline for many and provide a service particular to the needs of the person.
