After a two year hiatus, the Gabriola Island Lions Club is so very pleased to announce that the Concert on the Green is ready to go for August 4th 2022!
One of the top tribute bands in the Pacific Northwest, Eagle Eyes, originally scheduled for August 2020, is back this year. And this year, the opener is Classic Ronstadt from Vancouver.
Once again, there will be food and beverage sales, a silent auction, oodles of entertainment for children of all ages and plenty of free parking on site.
This year, we have an exciting new 50/50 draw where one lucky winner will receive a lot of cash!

Eagle Eyes has taken great care and dedication recreating the harmonies and capturing the magic of EAGLES studio recordings. Hailing from Southern Vancouver Island, BC, the four members of Eagle Eyes have over 120 years of combined experience as professional touring musicians honing their musical and vocal skills. Eagle Eyes audiences are being captivated by the bands live performances and natural vocal harmonies, not to mention the music. This bands love for the Eagles songs helps them construct and finesse their ongoing sold-out performances! Classic Ronstadt – Linda Ronstadt tribute is fronted by talented vocalist D.L. Car (also of Barracuda – Heart tribute) and features a band of elite Pacific West Coast musicians performing from the amazing music catalogue of that made Ronstadt one of the first crossover superstars, known in both pop and country music, and an artist who helped develop, influence and eventually collaborate with luminaries like Don Henley, Glen Frey, Bernie Leadon, Randy Meisner.

Gabriola has a community bus that travels around the island from the ferry to the concert location. However, its route is clockwise meaning that the time from the ferry to the concert venue will be approximately 30 minutes. So plan accordingly. The route to take is the red coloured Silva Bay line.
